Jesse Cook Norfolk Concert reviews
Ricke Medlocke and Gary Rossington are still true performers, despite their age. Despite having so many new members in 2026, the Band hasn't lost it. I'd never really forgotten Oakland's show back in '77 & I won't forget this one either. They were just as AMAZING this July as when I saw the original band at the Oakland Coliseum's 'Day on the Green' on July 2, 1977. Johnnie is so close to his brother's style & sound that it's almost like Ronnie's standing behind him to give him that extra edge. 77's date had Peter Frampton & The Outlaws as accompanying acts but Skynyrd was top shelf. God Bless all of them & God Bless America for giving them to us!
